You must have thought for a once which one is good for use? A Computer or A Laptop?
However, both are different in size and use, but the work of both is the same. People like computers because it's able to fulfill all the user requirements because of good performance. A performance that the laptop does struggle to provide due to its small size.
But some people love to use it (Laptop) because of its portability. They do compromise the performance of the laptop due to its portability feature. Here, We will compare both computer and laptop on some parameters. We will try to find out which one is good.
1. Specifications

Computers always have higher specifications than the laptop. Computers have a big CPU (Central Processing Unit) case. Therefore, they haven't a space limit. You can attach any video card, Storage, RAM, etc. No matter how big they are in size.
On the other side, laptops have to be compact due to their portability features. So due to the small space, the small size of hardware can fit into it. That makes their performance a little bit lower than the computers.
However, Laptop manufacturers spent a lot of money and research. But other issues came in front of them like, heating problem.
2. Power

Computers haven't an issue of power shortage. Just plugin and use it as per your work. So because you haven't power shortage, you can use as much as the heavy configuration of the computer.
It maximizes the performance of computers. Laptops have a Battery that gives power to them. Due to this, Laptops have to use less energy to work for a long time.
Although, Laptops have the option of either save the battery or increase the performance. But I don't find it beneficial from any side.
But the meaning of this point is not that computers are so good. Laptops are energy efficient as compare to computers. It (Laptop) helps to cut down the bill of electricity. So laptop just not only do your work but also increase your savings :)
3. Customization

The customization of computers is unmatched. You can change any hardware or peripherals of the computer according to your requirement and comfort.
You can customize a computer for a specific purpose like photo editing and video editing, graphic design, programming, and playing games. Also, you might have seen some cool boys and girls that use RGB computers.
While, on the laptops, it's too limited. However, some laptops also come with customization features. But either they are bulky or have a heating problem.
The customization needs research and cost estimation. If you ignore any of both parameters, Either it will be expensive or less productive.
4. Cost

The computer is cheaper than a laptop. Laptop manufacturers spend a lot of money on research on Laptops to make them compact. Also, these companies spend a lot of money on the advertisement of laptops. That's why the laptop's price goes up then the computer, and it(laptop) doesn't provide you value for money.
5. Removable Parts

The computer has removable parts. So you can change any part of the computer, either its internal hardware like RAM, storage, processor or the accessories like keyboard, mouse, etc. Whereas on a laptop, it is too limited.
Suppose your computer's keyboard is damaged. What do you have to do? Just remove that damaged keyboard. Buy new and plug it in. But in the case of the laptop, you have to carry it to the service center.
